The Git version of the PPL does work with SWI-Prolog 7.*. The same will hold for PPL 1.2, to be released soon. Meanwhile, please fetch a PPL 1.2 snapshot from http://bugseng.com/products/ppl/download/ftp/snapshots/ and check whether it works for you. Please let us know.
