[PPL-devel] ppl-0.11 build fails in the testsuite on x86_64

the ppl-0.11 build fails in the testsuite on x86_64 (on lucid 10.04 and natty 11.04), see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ppl/+bug/697305 apparently the test did succeed for the ppl-0.11 upload to Debian experimental.
