Hi @ the PolyLib crew, this message to give some news about the CLooG code generator since the first announce here in late 2002: - a new version is available since few days, 0.14.0, with significant improvements (GMP support, improved space/time scalability, better generated code, many bug fixes, new documentation...), - a new home with online access (even if the input is still not really human-friendy) at http://www.cloog.org
CLooG is a PolyLib plugin providing a free software and library generating loops for scanning Z-polyhedra. That is, it finds a code (e.g. in C, FORTRAN...) that reaches each integral point of one or more parameterized polyhedra. It has been originally written to solve the code generation problem for optimizing compilers based on the polytope model (as Kelly's Omega CodeGen or Quilleré's LoopGen). CLooG is now used in various teams from both academic and industry to solve various problems, from building control automata for high-level synthesis to finding the best polynomial approximation of a function.
Basically, news are good :-) ! Best regards,
Cédric Bastoul
