version 3 of the GNU General Public License (GPLv3), has been released:

I plan to use the copyright holder privileges to change the license
of the CVS HEAD version (and thus of any future release) of the Parma
University's Recurrence Relation Solver to GPLv3. If you have concerns
about this licensing change, please get in touch with me.

Just a short note to thank you for providing the PURRS tool. Nothing too
scholarly, I'm a second year computer science student at the University of
Malta. I found PURRS useful to check answers when working past papers. Exam
