Log message: Added calls to the simplifications routines at appropriate points in 'solve_equation_4'. Partially rewrote numeric tests for non vanishing of the roots of the auxiliary equation in 'solve_equation_4', because GiNaC's method 'is_zero()' is not reliable on complex expressions.
